    beautiful quilt. love the pianepple block. i've dog log cabin, but never a pineapple. they look so much more intense.

    This pattern was a basic logcabin but you add the corner (grey) section cut as a square, sewed at a diagonal and trimmed. The trimmed pieces are what I used to make the diamonds along the borders and the pinwheels on the backside. Hate to waste anything these days. The border idea was mine idea and not part of the original pattern.
