    This is the quilt I made for the oldest granddaughter and her husband for Christmas. I'm quite happy with this one. I did the quilting myself on my Viking D1. Hard pushing all that fabric through the throat. The backing is an example of how one copes with not enough fabric. I've done something like this on several quilts.

    Wow...what a fantastic stunning quilt you have made!(Sorry Blue to copy your adjective, but it's soooo fitting!!) I think you'll be tops on the list of gift-givers with that one!! Nice job.

    How big is the feathered star? Can you ever make a simplified that is only 12" block?
