How did you get the design in each diamond? It all looks like special fabric rather than scraps. It is really a stunning quilt, and one I would cherish!! I am interested in seeing how it was done.

Quilters who've never done a Lone Star cannot appreciate what a marvelous piece of work this is!
i still don't understand exactly how you created the "finger of darker color" effect, but I know it must have taken real dedication!
Just finishing a Lone Star is an amazing achievement!
