    Thinking of you, Toogie, as are so many others here. It is always hard to lose someone and it takes time to process and I'm glad you have something you can do (and a community to turn to) while you grieve. I am trying to imagine what you said, and I think your idea of outlining the star and then stippling in the background could be really effective in making the star stand out. Take care.

    Beautiful Lone Star. And the scrappy quilt is a nice and fun project. Sorry about your sister's passing. These are difficult times.
