At long last! Bed quilt for our son.
#1
This was one of those projects that just didn't want to get finished. The early parts of this that I made even six months ago were not good, but I was reluctant to ditch them and start over, so I kept on. I had to make myself not do anything else for a few days in a row, several times, so that I could get this done!
I finally did!
It is a double size for an old double bed that our son has in the 'guest bedroom' at his condo in St. Paul, MN. We furnished the room with bed and table and linens, so we get to stay there when we must go to The Cities for a day or two! He's a very nice son!
When I told him that I was going to make a quilt for this bed, he was concerned that I was not warm enough! No, I told him, I just want the room to be prettier.
Now, I can just do other stuff, without feeling guilty!
