    Default A long time commin'

Our guild decided last year that everyone would make a "house" quilt. It was so much fun as some did bird houses, others did light houses, some did barns, others haunted houses and I chose to make the four seasonal houses by Marcia Layton. They were time and labor intense but totally enjoyable. I finally finished the fourth one earlier this year. Thanks for looking

this are amazing works of art! i'm not familiar with marcia layton or her patterns, but even using a pattern ..these are amazing. your choice of fabrics, colors ..attention to detail ..wow! i love using yoyos for embelishing, but i would never have thought of using rickrack the way you have. especially in the first house where it's braided and then blinged with ?swarovski? crystals! amazing! what are the sizes?
