Default Long Time No See! "Late Bloomers" Quilt

I was stressed, just plain old and I curled up in a cocoon and hid myself (not really, just tried to complete home projects, etc.). My daughter likes bright colors and when I got American Patchwork and Quilting's April, 2012, issue with Late Bloomers on the cover, I knew this quilt would be the one for her 3/16 b/day....was a little tardy, just gave it to her today! 3 different sizes hourglass blocks and needle turn applique...an experience to say the least. I got lots of practice. Hope u like! Hugs,

We took these pictures in our sun room, hence, the sunlight and shadows.

Very beautiful! Did you do your own quilting? Was it long-arm or free motion on a domestic machine? I love it!
