My poor husband... the first time I asked him to go back to an alley we passed so I could look at something, was dumbstruck, he said he thought only homeless people took stuff out of the trash! Oh yeah! my motto is " if it's free, it's for me!" funny.... he never lets me look when we're in the corvette.......

I, too, am a scavenger...and the finds you can get at Goodwill's, Salvation Army or even Thrift stores....super. The fabric looks super and the cost just fantastic. It means more money for other times, too. You did GREAT!!!!

I love the Goodwill stores. Wouldn't know what to do without them.. wish I could find some material at mine, although I don't really look back on the shelves much. by the time get through the clothes am too tired to go through the rest.

thrift has the best buys, sometime fabric.

I love the thrift stores too. Sometimes there's nothing for me and sometimes I hit the jackpot.

YOU LEGEND!!! What a great find, I love "treasure" hunting too...my best find recently was 3 metres of American made rose floral print (pinks) and a 2 metre piece of pink blender...Not totally my cup of tea, but I will make a quilt and either give it away or if it's good enough sell it.

Great finds. I guess I'll have to start shopping there as well. These fabrics go together beautifully. What a find! And, thanks for the Goodwill tip.
