    Went to the longest yardsale today, looking for one thing and I found it. Cost me 300.00 dollars I hope it was a good bargin. And most of all it runs great.

    the thing about older machines is that their is no plastic parts to break, they where made to last a long time.

    Yes, You got a good deal on it. I have one just like that. Mine was manufactured in 1935. I received it for my 11th Christmas.

    Good for you, it will be worth it. It is a centenniel model, the gold looks good. Read your book, oil it regularly remember the motor takes Singer Lubricant (grease - not oil) and enjoy, they are truly wonderful machines. If you have questions do not be afraid to ask, we are here to help.
