    the home decorating material works great for purses. Have a girly day and let everyone that comes go through the home decorating material and make purses or at a family get together have everyone do a purse. Just something simple like a tote.

    Good idea, but I don't have anyone around me who sews, so you guys will have to come pick through. I'll inflate the air mattress for a sleepover. :roll: :lol:

    I agree that the home dec stuff can do totes and purses. You can also do placemats, table runners, etc. If you piece them, you'll have to put a backing on, but don't put any batting in them and you don't even have to quilt them! Fast and easy!
