A quilter friend of mine used upholstry and home-dec samples to make crazy-patch vests. She washed and dried everything first so she wouldn't have any odd shrinkage when she washed them and to make sure they would hold up to washing. The vests were beautiful!

I'm sure you'll figure out what to do with all that material.

I had a ladies group cut them up into large squares--up to 10" (the home dec fabrics) and I grouped them by color, put sashing and cornerstones on and make charity quilts with them. The people LOVE them and they last and last.
