    I think it will work... that is what I just used on my Singer 401A :thumbup:

    She gave it to me to sell so I could put toward buying a new machine. She is 87 and bought it in March of 1950. I told her I wouldn't sell it unless I needed money for bills or food. And I'm ok there. I doubt I can get much for it anyway.

    I understand that oil goes bad so be careful using old oil.

    I have that same exact machine(except mine is a portable in a case).Was my mothers, it is the machine I learn to sew on.
