It's a juki 98, not sure I like it yet though, he bought it as a complete package.

Let us know how you like it because I have been told that it is great for quilting and not a kazillion dollars like some of the others. The frame etc. still intimidates me and I will have to try a demo before I will invest but....it's tempting.....HMMMM.....Let us know...

Your frame looks just like my Bernina frame that Grace made for them when the 830 came out. My DH bought the 830 and frame for me over a year ago and we put on a quilt, if that wasn't a trip, the directions that came with the frame were terrible so I am not sure it is even on correctly. I tried to stitch on it and felt like it was running away from me and I could keep up with it so I took the machine off the frame and have been busy embroidering and sewing with it because I am afraid of the frame. I finally found someone who sells longarms and I had her scheduled to come to my house to help me with how to load and how to work with it but I had to cancel because my machine decided to act up with some error messages. The machine is now at the shop for repair and I will reschedule when I get it back and make sure it is working okay. I have 6 other completed tops that are ready for quilting so hopefully I will master this and overcome my fear. I have talked with a lot of people, watched a lot of videos and read a lot of books but I just need a push to get over the stump and I am sure I will be on my way. Have fun and stitch away. Sally

I think I've figured it out...Dear Husband. Hopefully someone will tell me if I'm right or wrong.

pstoner, please keep us posted on new machine, would love to have one, but not willing to pay the price most of them want, and I see yours is on sale right now. Hope you love it.
sherry mcd, any time you see something you don't understand just google it.

I really like it, love the frame and am learning to adjust to the Juki (I have always had singer machine). Not used to front loading, but like I said. I am adjusting. It sure beats rolling in the throat and throwing a queen size quilt over my shoulder. I am learning to also use the pantograph laser option (included with my package). This option I really like, I can take a photograph and quilt cad to create a pantograph to use.
