I have a lot of jean pockets left over from the jean quilt I made for my DGS. Maybe I should make him a rug like this. I'll put it on the (long) list - LOL.

I think I would sew them to a foundation piece and then back with non skid rug backing. How heavy a fabric would you need for the foundation piece? I also recently threw some pockets away, will start keeping them now!

I have tons of denim scraps that I didn't know what to do with. I used the pockets on the two quilts I made, but will be okay with making a denim rug for the kitchen. It is on the list of things to do.. Top of the list is sewing my navy pants.. Did your mother ever tell you not to pull a thread on something you were wearing. My mom didn't.. Now my waist band is hanging separated from the bottom.. I'm glad I was wearing a shirt that was hanging over the pants.. Ughhhh
