I haven't been on here in so long it has been a long hot busy summer....but I found these Christmas prints at a quilt shop in Jupiter, Fl. My husband was having surgery on both hands at a hand center that specializes in Duprytens and I talked him in to riding to check out this quilt shop after the first hand was worked on thursday...back to the fabric ....aren't they the cutest things..they actually had 3 but I limited myself to 1 yard ea of two of them....hubby even helped me decide ...now what to do with them

I don't know if I could cut these; they are so fun to just look at. Got a few chuckles from me as I was look at all the Santa characters.

I had the same hand surgery 10 yrs. ago - fortunately on one hand. Make sure hubby does the exercises to avoid scar tissue. My surgeon spoke few works & sent me to a physical therapest 7 days after my surgery. She had me bending my -had not been washed since surgery- fingers into the palm of my hand. Incision got infected & I did not go back to her. No one had explained the importance of movements to prevent the scar tissue from forming. The good thing was that quilting helped with stretching the fingers out again.
