    The quilt and the machine look great. It is definitely older, since it says "Made in Germany" on it.

    Nice cheddar nine patch. Even the too small blocks look good and blend nicely.

    Orange has never been a favorite of mine for quilts but the more I see it here on the QB, the more I am liking it.

    That quilt is gorgeous! So glad you found it and the machine!

    Oh joy joy to you!! Love that machine & good luck repairing it! I would go the extra yard to get er done! Fabulous quilts you have found! Someone is spinning in their graves that their quilts were not treasured by family! Lucky you to find the house of treasures!

    Back in 1972, my roommate at Cornell College, Nancy Meijer had a Pfaff she was using to sew a Grandmother's Flower Garden she was making for her wedding. I used it to quilt a whole piece comforter for myself. That was when I fell in love with the Pfaffs. It was a workhorse for sure.
    PS if anyone knows Nancy, I'd sure like to get re-united with her.
