I'm giving it to quiltinggrannie cause I run across stuff like that all the time. I figure if I keep it I will eventually give it away or throw it away. Atleast she will use it for her miniature storage or whatever she wants.

I had some of these. I think I only have one left it is in with my sewing collectibles in my printer's drawer. I take all my sewing collectibles and put them on my Christmas tree, along with my hand made quilty ornaments.

I have one of those in my printer's box. The box hangs on my dining area wall.

It is adorable. Going through some of my mother-in-law's horde, I found a few old wooden spools with thread on. A couple were small enough to put in the box too.

I've been thinking about looking for old thimbles to add to the box. It is fun to collect something that goes with your interests.

Just don't tell my daughter. Then she buys everything she sees. I remember how my outdoor turtle collection grew.....

I love your little machine !!! I would have bought it too. I splurged a couple of years ago and bought a Featherweight. I am in love with it. I take it when ever I sew for charity etc. It is perfect. You got a good find !! Thanks for the pic !!

Well it is on it's way to quiltinggrannie, she is the new owner. Bye bye mini but I am sure I will run across more just like you. Thank you everybody for indulging me with this thread about my thrift shop find. To be honest I didn't expect so many responses but I have enjoyed reading all of the posts here. Carrie

I will take very good care of it. I feel obligated to keep it and not add it to one of my mini storage pieces to sell. Maybe this mini will find a special place in my new mini collection.
    Thank you cjomomma!
