Wink Look what I got for FREE

I was in the apt. managers office to show off my new wall hanging for my grandson, a lady was sitting and waiting. She said oh you like to sew, I have a sewing machine that I want to get rid of. I asked how much she was asking, what kind, etc. She told me I could just have it for free, as she wanted the closet space. What an awesome surprise that was awaiting for me. Right place, right time. The book, attachments, and feet were all there. All kinds of goodies were in the two drawers in the cabinet. Spotless clean, runs like a purring kitty. Sews like she was brand new. I'm so excited I can't stop sewing. She's a great addition to my Juki.

Wow! Lucky you! I have an old Kenmore as my back-up...similar to yours. I love it!

Well, I'm green with envy! I have an old Kenmore as my workhorse and a newer Kenmore as my backup. You will love yours too.

Sometimes a person just happens to be in the right place at the right time, like you said. How wonderful!
