Happy for you. It was so nice of your chiropractor to think of you, now you can start thinking about all the pretty projects you can make from your new stash.

Debbie, would you mind telling me if the chiropractor has helped your neck problem. I have had neck problems for over 25 years, but since I am retired and not at a desk all day they are so much better. On Dec.5th I had a bad fall and was bruised a lot, but thankfully nothing broken. A month passed and I thought I would start some mild exercises. On the third day of exercising, a half hour a day, I started with severe neck pain. Went to the orthopedic doctor and he sent me to therapy. Along with the neck pain I have had severe headaches too and terrible neck spasms. Happy to report that the spasms are gone and most of the neck pain, but I still get headaches. I am taking an RX for that. The doctor thinks the neck problem started from the exercises. I disagree, and think that it stems from the fall. Already having had neck problems for years, I think the fall shookup the old neck injury. Sorry, I did not intend to go on so. Have a great day and have fun sewing.

I'm sure that you will find something to do with all that fabric.

Great idea Gladys! I'm using a lot of these pinks and pastels from the stash he gave me, so I'm going to ask for 2 free adjustments in exchange for a baby quilt. I have the top put together on my designing wall, so all I have to do is sew it together and take it to him for approval. Then to quilt it......should have it done by Monday, ready to bind, if nothing else comes up ( I'm slow, since I take a lot of breaks for back pain). I'll post a picture when I get it sewn together.

Lucy, yes the chiropractor is definitely the way to go, for me. If it weren't for adjustments, I'd have a stiff neck all the time. Another thing that helps me is a round neck roll. I bought it about 30 yrs. ago, and it's about 3-4 inches in diameter, made of foam. I wish I could find another one. This one is just about worn out, but you could try a rolled up towel to put under your neck. When I get a migraine, I can't use a regular bed pillow, just this neck pillow. It takes a little getting used to, but well worth it, in my opinion. Also, I use the flattest bed pillow I can find -- right now I'm using an old one of my DH's, and I'm using the neck roll on top of it. When I don't do that, I can count on getting a headache. Sounds silly, but whatever works!
