    These are really olde worldly, very nice. Are these the true to type made in the 1800īs..... edumacate me please... :D :D

    I always think brown and dk blue for civilwar colors. Those are rather pretty. It was mostly small prints though? See we learn here :wink

    "squishy?" :lol: I like the "fondle" description too--I do that. :wink:

    My husband is a Civil War nut. Where is the best place to get such fabrics? And are there specific Civil War patterns? I saw the solider one on here a few days ago.

    Karla here are a few of my favorites but most sites have some of the fabrics. As far as patterns most of the traditional patterns were made during that era so I dont know that there is specific patterns,
