    That's wonderful . I really like the way the four patch was done. I am sure there is another name for that block but I have no clue.

    Wonderful. Do you know specific patches that belonged to specific people. I was lucky enough to meet a lady who knew the family of the my husband's grandmother. She made a quilt for each grandchild before she died. She gave them to the Mothers to give to the grandchildren when they were married. My friend was able to tell me that some of the patches were dresses from Aunt Martha's clothes and Aunt Helen's and the occasion the dress was made for. I was extremely lucky.
