    great job...be a little "out of the box" and leave the straps as they are!!!!
    you know I have been thinking about making a bag as well. Since money is tight I didn't want to buy a pattern....I thought of just "making it up as I go" hehehhe.....show us some pictures of your next one.

    I don't know what I'm going to use it for.
    I'm sure that when Courtney comes home, she'll snatch it up on me. She LOVES bags. I have one that is made out of a Kona Coffee Bag and she "borrows" it ALL the time!

    You are not backpacking.. I read your post and you are staying at a posh hotel. REAL backpackers stay in a tent or worse.... :twisted:

    I may NOT be backpacking, but I always have my backpack with me.
