    I think the quilt is really cute. The bottom addition is too large for my taste. I would rather have the top and bottom balance equally. It looks like fringe and that's fun. But for my taste I need balance.

    I'll add to my previous comment that I love asymmetry and since this is a very one-way quilt, I like it all at the bottom and not divided equally...Some people like one candle on each side of the mantel; I like both mine at one end and something on the other to balance it.

    I ditto the thought of using the baby's name in the bottom stripe. Just make sure you have the right name before getting it all quilted and finished.
