This is the pattern I post earlier for you to look at. It's next on my list and looks to be pretty simple.

I know it is the Carpenter's square but don't have instructions. The quilt is beautiful and whoever did the quilting did a great job.

I want to try your avatar someday. Do you still have the yardage requirements for it by any chance? And did you make it with HST's? Thanks!!!!
I did make it with hst's and squares. I don't have the yardage. I just charted it out on graph paper and figured how many of each combo I needed. I had a yard or so of each color and 2 yards of the green. But I had fabric left over. It is a baby quilt, so didn't take a lot.

Wonderful idea/quilt. I have a grandson that wants a hunter green/tan quilt and this would be perfect. I love HST and the lady is correct: just follow the placement. Happy Squares Fergie

Quilter's Cache lists it under "Carpenter's Wheel" and not Carpenter's Star,
as most other sites refer to it. - Judy

I printed out the pattern instructions for the Carpenters Wheel and the Hunter Star some time back. I look at these two patterns every day wanting to make them. I have only made two quilts so far, and I have a couple of other quilts that I need to do for others first. But when I can do one that I choose, I will make the Carpenter's Wheel pattern. I think the Hunter's Star may be more difficult to make, so I will wait till I have a little experience under my belt before I tackle that one. But I so look forward to it. Good luck with the Carpenters Wheel Pattern. I am sure it will be lovely. I can hardly wait to make one myself.
