I think I agree with everyone here, especially quiltsRfun. I have never used a featherweight, but there our 3 in my office (Orthotics and Prosthetics-we fabricate alot of products ourselves.) I think, I will speak with one of them to teach me how to operate one of them. I also can kick myself with steel toe boots, I found one in my mom's attic, it was said that it was my great, great grandmothers. I thought it was an old crudy machine and I left it behind when I moved to NC. The more and more I find myself quilting and looking at other sewing rooms, I see them everywhere. I made such a poor judgement call!

Isn't she purty..... She's a 1955 model. Excellent condition. The case is also very nice. A couple of small rubs on the corners, but that's it. I can't wait to use her. She doesn't have a name yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something. Just wanted to share.
