Default Lorax Quilt Was A Learning Experience

I'm not a big fan of "wonky" but that seemed perfect for Dr. Seuss, so I decided to do it. Why on earth can I "wonky" when I'm trying not to but keep getting square blocks when I'm trying to "wonk"? It was nearly comical.

I also decided to give a good go at FMQ because Seuss is always a little off. It's still far from perfect but much better. No thread breaking issues for once! Yeah!

Forgive me for the border. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Now it is just LOUD!

Looks great and I think the border matches the colors in the block. A very cute quilt.

LOVE IT... I also bought that panel. This looks perfect!! I am working on my son's Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat quilt now...I just did 4 rows tonight....trying to get it done by Sunday. Dragging my self to the sewing machine each night,

The border is perfect...lively and colorful like the blocks. It makes you smile out loud looking at your wonderful quilt.
