Lori S sent me this log cabin quilt...supreme piecing! It is a beautiful quilt!
She sent me W&N batting and a variegated King tut thread to use for the quilting....she likes heavy quilting and feathers.
I feathered the whole quilt...single feathers in the light areas and double feathers in the dark area. It is just STUNNING!
I did this all free hand on my INNOVA. No pantograph or computer quilting.
Thank you for looking! The pictures don't do it justice!

Can we say DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! The piecing is phenominal and the quilting simply enhances it to no end. I have to admit I am like Lori S I love heavy quilting too. I am also a huge fan of florals on dark background fabrics. Maybe that is why this one speaks to me so. Charismah, between you and Lori S you both have made the oh so humble log cabin down right glamourous and elegant. LOVE IT!
