    Default Los Angeles County Fair

Apologies for the horrible lighting plus the crumpled displays. They should prepare better exhibits. But there were great quilts at the fair!

    Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

It seems that county and state fairs (especially larger urban counties) display the quilts and other fiber arts behind glass or screens because they attract a wider audience of folks that are not necessarily quilting folks who know not to touch, drink or eat around them. Also a much higher likelihood of children at fairs than at quilt shows.

I love to see a well secured and clean display! It makes it a little harder for pictures but it is worth it for the security. Thanks for the eye candy and I love that fun, funky cat quilt!

A nice variety of quilts. I love County fairs!! You often get to see the work of ordinary people who don't display their work at Quilt Shows.
