Default Lost my mind assembling quilt

With 3 weddings - April-July - and 6 large his/hers lap quilts to make - i was down to the last quilt for a 21 July wedding - the scrappy star pictured here. That's when i lost my mind and mixed up the placement of the 16 squares and the small stars that were supposed to be in the center were in the corners. Now i was stuck had this huge blank space in the middle and really no desire/time to rip out all those seams - i remembered the great Dresden plate thread i'd looked at on QB just last week. I had just enough of 4 of the fabrics. I think it turned out OK..and no one will ever know - well...except anyone who reads this - and my husband who heard me scream.

That's a wonderful design! Not planned, but nevertheless truly beautiful.
