I have 7 pairs of little snippers - use them to cut the little threads - easier for me to hold. Well my work area is very small - but for some reason today I couldn't keep track of any of my scissors....I lost all 7 pairs at some point or another under paper; under batting; on the floor; under material.

So I made this....I better not have this same problem tomorrow!!! I took some scraps and viola - and I attached it to the machine using double sided sticky hemming tape!

Clever and smart move and very useful information. I may have to make myself one of these (smile). Thank you for sharing.

    Brilliant!

Mine are probably also lost under your mess. I cleaned mine up and they're still MIA.

I think I should make myself something like this, only with small plastic or metal cans inside it. I've lost both of my seam rippers, either from flinging them across the room in anger, or my darn cat bats them around and they're probably way under the book case. I stopped and got 3 more from Joann's today, it was on my way to another store. Those 3 should last me through this @#%^&* kids' lap quilt I'm making.
