I love your quilt and especially am grateful for the great outdoor quilt idea. I have wanted to make an outdoor quilt for some avid hunters and couldn't find a pattern. I never thought to use the deer fabric in a Carpenter's Star. This board helps me with ideas ALL the time. I have the outdoorsy deer and bear fabric and pine trees and more. They are big Deer hunters. I'll be starting this before I lose the idea.
