    I love LOVE your quilt! I have a bin of 2.5" squares. They're addicting. We even have swaps here on the quilting board. So fun!

    You could use any size squares. I just happened to have TONS of 2". I did put this into EQ to keep the dimensions straight!

    Once on the bed, the applique portion will look great over the pillows....you've added your own special touch to this quilt....

    Great job on your quilt top! I used that pattern too but just added to the top and bottom, I really like your idea to "unsquare" it!

    Seems like small squares are like hangers, they reproduce in the dark. Beautiful quilt and I too love the way you increased the size by adding that top border. Hopefully I'll remember that some day when I need to do the same thing.
