    Sure looks good, I like rectangle better than square. Nice choices to extend.

    I love it but then scrappies are my favorite. I have a tote of 2 1/2" squares that I want to use up. I've completed 6 race quilts this summer using up all my 2 1/2" strips and 3" strips and yesterday I completed my 3rd quilt using up my tote of 5" squares. I lost two of my brothers this past year and have given these quilts to my nieces and nephews left behind - kind of like comfort quilts. These are nieces and nephews I don't see much so wanted to give them something from their "Auntie" Karen. So I've cleaned out 3 totes - what a cleansing feeling!

    It is pieced by machine, and the hexies are hand sewn and hand appliqued.

    Love your top. Can you tell us how many 2" squares there are in the middle block? Tried to count but got lost!!
