    Those are so pretty. I am also into making placemats and table runners. I asked for plain white square dishes for Christmas to be able to show off my new placemats.

    Potholders also. I joined the potholder swap and making them was so much fun, and ever so much easier to quilt. You don't have to send out these small projects for quilting and you get almost instant results and pleasure from making them. I love the idea of becoming a "placematter", LOL.
