    I've been making lots of sets of placemats for Christmas gifts -- it's the first time I have made them, and they are sooo much easier to FMQ than a quilt. I may quit being a "quilter" and become a "placematter". :-D

    I haven't tried FMQ yet, but maybe place mats would be a good place to start. You did a nice job!

    They look wonderful - I agree that quilting placemats is a lot easier lol.
