The graduate evidently has a LOT to learn about us "old ladies". Rule #1 is to not call us old ladies!!!!!!!!!!! Rule #2 is to recognize that the so called "old ladies" must be quite spiffy, creative, savy with math, very knowledgeable about the color wheel, still have good eye hand coordination, and very tolerant of insulting youth. Rule #3 Studying Quilting History will be like studying a history of women and their endurance as well as their abilities to care for their families under very difficult circumstances, and in the earlier days, all of this was done without such things as electricity, indoor plumbing, heating/air conditioning, computers, cell phones, etc. etc etc. Ooooooooooh!!!! The youth of today just haven't put down their cell phones, etc. long enough to think how the "old ladies" of the past paved the way for them to become "all they can be"!!!!!!!

I have a family of purple lovers. I do like this one as well. It's definitely bold and modern.

Purple is my favorite color, and I just love modern quilts. Your waves make it all the nicer. Needless to say, I LOVE this quilt!
