Love is....quilts for a grandson

The original quilt was a kit from Keepsake Quilting with two panels included. I ordered two kits: one for our daughter and one for her sister-in-law, on opposite ends of the country. One was completed for the SIL & BIL for their newborn daughter, last Spring, and the second, for our daughter, in anticipation of the arrival of our grandson in August 2020. Since I had several baby animal photos, lots of scraps, extra backing material and the wording borders, I also made a receiving blanket with Minkee on the back and a taggie quilt for the car seat.

Those are really special! I love the animals on them. I'm sure they will be loved for a long time.

They are darling! Little ones will get a lot of use out of them. The quilting is beautiful and most evident on the second one. Nice work all the way around.
