Here's my latest charity quilt... I picked the little pieces of assorted creams, gray/green/blues out the bins of donated fabrics and put this together. It actually turned out like I ad pictured in my mind.

I had seen a similar design, different colors, on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a shot. This one is SITD and at a 45 degree angle across the blocks so it will be durable for lots of use and washings.

In response to Neecie and others who have been asking about size, each completed HST block measures 6" (mostly because I had a 6½" ruler to trim the squares). Once you have enough HST blocks to make the quilt the size you want you can arrange them however you wish, then sew into rows and join the rows to complete the quilt top.
