This is a memory quilt I recently completed for my DGD intensive care nurse. All of the animals on this quilt (there are 5 different ones) except the little gray cat in the center died in a house fire this summer. He was badly burned but is recovering. I hope it will bring her pleasant memories and some comfort. I stitched all of their names around the inner border. I think it worked ok. It is the first time I have programmed something like this into my machine. I like the colors (my daughter picked them) and hope she does too.

What a nice idea. I'm sure it will be a comfort to her after losing her pets.
