    Default Lucky Stars II

    This is my second Lucky Stars quilt. The free form star pattern is from Fons and Porter, and the blocks are attached with "quilt as you go." It suits me because there are no templates. See the first quilt posted here:

    This second quilt is different from the first in that there are no flowered fabrics used. Both quilts will be donated to the Bible Camp quilt auction, but I wanted to make this second one appeal to boys. I think the colors would be attractive to both boys and girls, but having no flowers and hardly any dots will make Lucky Stars II great for boys.

    Awesome quilt. You are right it would appeal to boys with the different fabric.

    Terrific quilt! It definitely will "speak" to boys, but surely any kid would love to have such a creation!
