    Wow - great job! I love it the way it is. In quilting if you like the pattern thats all that counts. You certainly made a wonderful "oops"

    I actually see nothing at all wrong with this quilt and think it is very pretty. Your DIL will love it. Don't be so hard on yourself.

    So it means that when making a log cabin block the 'right' way you add a light strip first to the center, didn't know it made a big difference. Sometimes I begin with a light strip and other times I begin with a dark strip, important thing is that all the blocks in a quilt are begun the same way.

    I love all of the fabric in this quilt and I wish my "oops" turned out this lovely. Great job and I'm sure your DIL will love it!!!! :D :D
