Thanks Lynnie.....I've sent an e-mail to Paperpieces.com to see how to get those free sample kits. I'm "afraid" - but after seeing yours, I'm excited to try this. It sounds like something to do while in a car. Since we travel out of state alot, this might be fun! Thanks for your inspiration!

I have a blue and yellow gfg waiting to be finished hand quilting but it is not as large as yours love doing hexies but the quilting is not going to be finished for a while as I a in the process of hand quilting a wedding quilt and doing a baby quilt. Both of the showers will be sometime in November, I just hope not the same day. The baby quilt will be machine applied and hand quilted but in an easy design not a more intricate one like the wedding one. I have the gift quilt hanging on my quilt ladder folded with the quilted section showing but not the section that is not quilted s it looks like it's done. It may be cheating but at least I can enjoy it until I can finish It.

NoraB, you'll love it. ask for about 6, so you can make the flowers and attach them to one another. you'll see how quick it goes. you can make the flowers while you travel and attach them when you get home. it will be done b4 you know it. please show us what you do.
