Your work is great.......I did an heirloom quilt too, and yes too heavy to work with and use on the bed.........I have taken it apart, thinking only 12 blocks would make it lighter.........its still sitting..........well wadded up in the closet..............calla/Sue

Lynnie, What a beautiful quilt! No wonder your friend wanted to have a finished quilt from her mother's blocks. Of course, you did the HARD part by quilting it. And I'm so glad you did -- surely your friend is thrilled many times over with the result. This is stunning!
