    a friend at work asked me if i could make a quilt for a little girl who has a brain tumor,and will not be with us much longer.I said sure and asked what her favorite color was,well she got back to me and this is what I made.instead of putting batting it it I used a couple layers of flannel/
    also put buttons in the middle of the diamond shapes,some with cute sayings

    AZ what a nice gift for a well deserving little gal. Cancer is not fair...I am sure this quilt will bring comfort to this precious little gal. I love this 10 min block pattern. I added sashing between the block on the one I made. You are a very special person to make this for your friend at work.

    That looks very nice. The flannel will make it even more special to her since it will be snugly soft. Bless you for doing this for her.

    Great quilt . No matter how busy I am and how many quilts on my list; I always find the time to make a special quilt for someone.
