    Default Magic 9 patch. The next generation

    Found this pattern on lyn browns site and gave it a try. Still have to add borders but thought it was good for spare 5ins squares.

    Lynnie It is just an ordinary disappearing 9 patch done with 5 ins squares with a black in center and colours in corners and white in other places. Cut in usual way down middle and across center. Leaving you four squares 7 ins cover each of these with a 7ins square of a coordinating colour or whatever you like and draw a diagnol from corner to corner (not through black ) When that is done you have 2 different looking squares and trim to 61/2 ins place in order.
