maintaining the legacy

It's funny, but right before Mama C's funeral service our minister was trying to figure out what to call these towels she had embroidered for our brides. Some of us said "cup towels" others said "dish towels" and still others "tea towels". I'm not sure what he ended up saying when he was recounting her giving spirit. Growing up in our kitchen we had hand towels - terry - and cup towels - the smoother version we used for drying dishes.

Wonderful ministry, and such a blessing for you too. We had a gentleman in my old church that wrote a monthly letter to every child in college until they graduated. My rowdy son saw how a faithful man can move mountains. AS can a faithful woman.

Wow. That's awesome. We had a gentleman who would call the college kids about once a month. My daughter was really touched by that. He had worked with the young people on different projects and mission trips so they had things to talk about and the chats were brief, but so powerful to them.

They are beautiful and what a wonderful tradition! I bet Mama C is smiling right now. What a wonderful keepsake for these grads and couples. God Bless you for caring on such a sweet and kind tradition!...
Oh, I almost forgot your quilts are beautiful!
