    My friend Laurie has her first GD! I have to make her a tree with pink fairy frost, buttons, satin roses, pearls! Back to Michaels!

    A GREAT idea....thanks for showing us. The pink fairy frost/satin roses sounds perfect! Prairie points added from the bottom up (like shingles) could be an idea also. We don't put up a tree anymore, but this could be a real fun project and easy to store.

    That is so cute! How did you attach the buttons? Just pins? Did you tie thread through the holes first (for appearances?).

    That is so neat. a great project to do with kids. I know my kids would love to do that. They could pick a color for their tree and they can pick all the stuff they want on it. So much fun. I have to get some of that styrofoam now. Thanks for sharing.
