Ninnie, your blocks are looking amazing! One block by itself if beautiful, but with them put together for the first row..........Wow! I just love it!

    Update

So, the first 2 rows are done and the sashing strip sewn between them.

Here is a picture of the sashing row.

    4 - 3 1/2 in by 15 1/2 in strips
    3 - 9 patches

the first row sewn unto the sashing

When I do these long rows, i pin alot. First one end, then the 9 patches have to be lined up with the strips in the middle of 2 blocks, all 3 of them, then I pin the other end. then in the middle of each pinned area, pinning all seams that need to be pinned.

And now the first 2 rows and sashing sewn together.

I think I will have to lay next picture of 3 rows done on my bed to get the picture. :D

Wow Ninnie you've been a busy bee while I've been away! I hope that means you're feeling better! :D

It's really coming together now, it's wonderful how the sashing really pulls the pattern through the quilt. :D

Awesome! It looks JUST like the one in the book. I am so impressed! Your fabric is even identical!

    And I like your sofa!
