I, like bzang, just found this post and read all the way through.
OMGoodness! Now let me get this into my pee brain- each block consists of 97 pieces, is 15" block, has sashing strips, is two-colored, is - what did you say, 81 x 101", has taken less than two months and you are almost done and ready to sandwich, quilt and finish?

Are you hand-quilting this baby or sending it out to be done?
Surely you will microchip this in case there is a midnight raid on your house you can track it down or maybe put a GPS system in the border.

    I am in awe.

Hope you are feeling much better by now.

That last row of sashing really draws the whole design together. I love it! :D I'd never in a million years have the patience to do something like this Ninnie, you ROCK! :D :D :D

  I think you have the jest of it, and I had never thought of microchiping it   I will tell my kids, (all all others who have threatened to "borrow" it) that it has a chip inserted.

she will be hand quilted, I have several options in stencils. I guess I could post picture of the choices and you all could help me decide which of them to use on it. But, first I have to get those 2 borders on, :D

I agree! I think this is the first quilt I have made that changes it's look so much with each thing that is added. It has been easy to stay interested in this one , for me. Thanks K, so glad you like it!!
