Update
I have now finished cutting all of the pieces. And while reading the instructions over again , I discovered, that I had missed making 20 center units, so here they are.

I have a bunch more pictures to show, but will have to do a little later.
these are the last units that I had to make.

Sorry, I would have posted all of this earlier, but my son came to spend the day with me. :D
He brought me my birthday present, A new modem, which he installed, and he also surprised me with my own web site! :D :D conniesquilts.net :D :D
How cool is that! He just left, so now I will finish posting all the pictures.
The last of the cutting

this is the way I keep all of my pieces, after getting each piece or block ready, I place them in their own plastic bag. I just use regular sandwich bags that you can get at the grocery store and they work great.
So, here is how it looks all bagged up. :D

And here all the elements are laid out.
49 navy blue sashing strips
80 3 1/2 in by 5 1/2 in navy A
160 2 1/2 in by 3 1/2 in navy B
110 nine patches that measure 3 1/2 in
80 four patches that measure 2 1/2 in
80 side units that measure 2 1/2 in by 5 1/2 in
20 center units that are 5 1/2 in square

these are all the pieces except for the 2 borders.
Now I am ready to start construction on the squares ! :D :D
